Morning.

Lyrics - Back when you were younger and the summer would last forever

Dustin - I'm another happy 310xt user though they aren't small. Depends what you want from it. Mark (my husband) says unless you can get it megs cheap he'd go for the 235 (his latest gadget).

Hope the comeback can continue RFJ.

What made you decide to do the 24 miles Ollie. It's not a P&D run is it?

Sounds like a nice day OH.

Is the fatigue lessening Alehouse?

What:         MLR or LSR if the legs will oblige/smt
Why:          I have the time and inclination
Last hard:   coming to a decision about the 50k (I'm not doing it)
Last rest:    13/6

Yesterday's lyrics were Inform-Educate-Entertain by Public Serve Broadcasting.

If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

    Morning!

    Lyrics: no

Surprised at th 50k decision, LMH. Re tiredness, was fine during yesterday's longer run...I just seem to be tired by the end of the week.

What: 30 mins or so, probably fartlek, this evening

Why: putting a bit of effort in

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

    Morning
Thanks for the garmin comments, don't really want to spend more than 100 or so (even that seems a lot for a watch).Big numbers as I'm short sighted , the HRM is useful, not bothered about my vertical oscillation.

what - club night, some form of torture no doubt
    why - Tuesday
    last rest - I think it's 4 weeks
last hard - will be today

    Morning. image

LMH: It is in the P&D programme, the longest run listed.  Though I did it a week earlier than scheduled in the plan to accommodate for the half marathon this weekend.  Enjoy your run today, sorry to hear about the tough 50k decision.
AH: Hope you have a good Fartlek session today, good to hear there's no residual tiredness.
Dustin: Enjoy the club session tonight, hope it's not too tortuous.

    What: 8 miles.
    Why: Tuesday.
    Current Streak: Day 256.
    Lyrics: Nope.

    Have a good day. image

    ALF: Always a little further
    Miles makes smiles.
    Progression
  • Alehouse - I just couldn't work out what I was actually doing it for so it seemed like a lot of inconvenience and money (£50) for the sake of it.

That's dedication OH or are a few of you meeting up to swim then?

Dustin - sounds like the 310xt would be a good choice then. My last one was new from ebay for £93.

Sounds sensible Ollie. Do you have a target for the half?

Hold on to that feeling Poppy!

If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
  • Hello, hello...tentatively sticks head around corner to check if okay to come back.
Won't bore with the details but am back up and running(ish)
    What: 4 miles fun
    Why: Because I can
Last Hard: Last Friday (Too blinking hot)

Good to see you SC...and trust you are in relatively good health!

I was wondering what OL's target is also, given that most of it is off road, I think!

  • Great to see you SC!

If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
  • Hi StrayCelt, good to see you back

Other option was 07:45, LMH, which would have suited me but not one of the others who would be on school dispatching duties then. We wanted to do the last swim together. No moon and so it will be starlight and a distant glow from the Flotta Oil terminal! An added bonus is not having to get up too early tomorrow!image

  • Evening all,

Managed to find a new thames path today; not bad after over 10 years jogging around the area!

    What:  3.5 ish

    Why:  The river looked nice

    Last Hard: 2007

    Last Rest: Sat

    Have a good one!

    Evening!

What: 7k, including 1k warm up and down, with the other 5k pushing various sections

Why: visiting the hills of HM via Burnage Rugby Club. Wanted a toughish workout and got it. Earned my refreshment afterwards.

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
