This is back for more more hills, terrible weather, fancy dressing, hangovers, yet more hills and general lunacy, and is popularly known as 'The best way to start the New year.' Anyone interested?
Having done this race a few times, I'm strangely excited to be simply marshalling it this year! Hopefully the worst of the rain will arrive after midday....
It's most odd. When I walked from the cafe to the view point then to the top of the stairs to my marshalling point, it was pretty flat. So as everyone got to the top of the stairs, I told them it was flat till the finish. It was anything but - as I found out after the last runner went past with the sweepers.
They must all hate me. It's like one of those Chinese puzzles....how can there be such a steep hill there?!?
Well done on another great promotion Dr Robert. It's great fun to be a part of this race, as a runner or a marshall.
Hazel, that email has gone out to all runners. If you still cannot see the results/photos/video etc, then make sure to refresh your browser - although you may also need to dump your cache and clear your browsing history. Good luck!

Just signed up for my fourth in a row. Hope to take part without the dreaded man flu hanging over me this year.
Anyone driving from Crawley?
Looks like it's going to be a wet one...

Yep, Bex, it's looking increasingly like it will be dry for the race. Phew!
Having sailed with you several times I don't believe a word you say about the weather. See you on the hill tomorrow, hope all goes well.
Cheeky! Good luck everyone!
Quote of the day so far... "There's only one way to start the new year and that's with cracked knackers!"
Trying to upload data, photos, results and video, everything running very slowly. Should all be up on Monday morning...
