Best news yesterday was my niece having a baby (Esme), so my sister becomes a granny and I become a great uncle. My wife's niece has two children so arguably I'm a great uncle-in-law already....

Lyrics seem somewhat appropriate, just from the title. I think that the weather has a heavy hangover too. It's rather subdued here. It's got that appealing invitation about it that makes me actually WANT to do tidying up, or even write thankyou letters.

Good start to the new year hear with a parkrun double, both with 3m before, so a nice 12m day....
23:40 at Andover in 35th and 23:34 at Winchester in 52nd, so nice and consistant.

Afternoon!
What: 5.7k, largely off road. Very muddy/puddly in places. Hard work.
Why: fancied going somewhere slightly different. Legs didn't particulate appreciate it even though it was nice and slow!
