Some great totals posted already, well done everyone.
So 1st week well and truly behind us, Stats so far:
02.01.17 - 6.25
04.01.17 - 3.12
06.01.17 - 6.25
08.01.17 - 2.81
YTD = 18.43
Hopefully increase my mileage back up to 25-30 a week shortly, had a very annoying calf injury from November which is still slightly sore - time it did one!
NW2 - It was a bit of a slog as your run was more than than the "total mileage for the rest of the week". Consensus is that LSR should be about 30% of your weekly mileage.
Well, that was fun! I am bracing myself for the cold, so went out for a head torch run tonight and very much enjoyed it so did 10.14 miles. Fab new head torch from Santa - he knew I'd been hankering after something like a floodlight so decided as I'm relatively cheap to run to get me the Petzl Nao +. It was ace! I'd never have gone rampaging around the woods like that with my old one.
YTD: 37.56 (There will no doubt be a few eeeks when I do nothing!)
No running to report since Sunday (planned days off due to other commitments) but just to say 100 comments in 10 days - seems like the thread it setting off like a train compared to last year thanks to all the newbies.
Actually, perhaps Harmander's target should be to run more miles in the year than there are comments on this thread
Just an easy 5.05 miles today, with Muttley Jnr for company. A third of the way through the month and less than a quarter of the monthly mileage done so far ... but the year is still young and there is time to overhaul those sprightly young things streaking ahead.
Just checked last year's thread - it closed at 1499 messages - that would only be 931 miles if I went for the Kms, so OK I will aim for the mile a message but will ask you all not to break up yor messages to increase their number.
A very fun Fartlek session for me this evening... I noodled about on the local highways and byways doing everything from pretty much flat out sprinting (5:15/mi. max pace) to more sustained fast stuff at about 3K pace, with recoveries in between (of course). All this totalled 6.19 miles.
Not sure if snow will land with us - I don't think it's forecast for where I live... although it is forecast for where I work
Tried a run-commute to the train station and back today. 3.5 miles there, 3.6 back, all at very easy pace. Still sweatier than I would like though, so probably won't do it again.

I managed to get out for 4 miles on Saturday and 5 yesterday to bring me to 16 YTD.
I know I am going to be behind the curve for at least the first half of the year.
Good running all!
A total of 15.25M over a relatively mild weekend including park run and yesterdays LSR. Brace yourselves for the cold weather coming our way.
YTD = 31.50m
15 miles yesterday, was a bit of a slog really but glad it's behind me. Looking forward to my planned cutback week
YTD 28.1 miles

Stylish - I normally only get 3 runs per week in, so it's impossible for the longest run to be less than 30%
Still recovering from a little plantar fasciitis injury picked up on NYE.
YTD - 0 miles

Andrew,
Great idea but I only managed 6 miles a day - so happy to try for a Km per message to see how far I get.
Am on over 100km already.
Afternoon all!

OK Harmander
I'll make sure
I do that
What did he say about breaking up messages?
Goals should be S.M.A.R.T not easy peasy or ridiculously un-achievable.
SMART = Some Miles Are Really Tough
Oh sugar, I have added another mile to my target.
Just run the mile you're in !
Hahahaha - you guys... stop teasing Harmander!!!
Oh sorry... just to add - I'm still at work so I've no running to report yet... will pop back later after planned Fartlek session...
5 easy miles today
YTD = 28
Evening all,
10 miles on Sunday and a smidge over 7 tonight.
I've been running in the gym a lot recently and that looks set to continue with snow forecast for Thursday!
YTD: 39.71
Howdy pardners!

5:15 mins per miles? Is that allowed on this thread?
Hahaha... Muttley - I didn't say for what distance!!! It just looks better made as a bald statement of pace
YTD 35.2
Another 12.75 miles so
YTD = 77.88 miles (125.35km so ahead of a Km/message)
Oooo - two posts within the space of six hours that I've started with "Hahaha..."!!!
