Stourbridge Running Club are looking at putting on a new race next year: Saturday September 16th 2017
34 miles along river Severn, Bridgnorth to Stourport & Staffs & Worcs Canal Stourport to Stourbridge.
Relay legs are 8, 6, 10 & 10.
So far, we've done risk assessment on first 14 miles and looked at the tricky bit through Stourport, which involves our only road crossing. Next to apply for license.
More details to follow.

Working on t-shirt & medal design, cos we know that's important.
I was asked the other day about logistics of relay runners.
The options are: Team of 4 has one car which follows each runner & swaps at checkpoints.
Or:
Use our mini-bus at extra £5 per person to transfer between checkpoints. The advantage of this is each checkpoint is at a pub so once your run is finished you can have a drink while watching the race go past. This may depend where you are travelling from to make it worthwhile. Also, if you're running the last leg you have to wait till the finish to have a drink. Good news is, there is a bar at the finish.
