Marathon training and gastroenteritis!

Hi there - looking for advice please. Training for London, going well, did 13 miles 20 Feb, then been slammed by severe bacterial gastroenteritis for 5 days. Have been eating for 2-3 days now and all good but still weak. Is it OK to attempt another long run this weekend or more rest ? Thanks muchly

  • I think more rest is what you need rather than possibly setting yourself back ?  But it does depend on how you feel ?   Its only Wednesday so you may feel better by the weekend ?
