How to find local events? Edinburgh

Hiya all,

I've just moved to Edinburgh from a region where all events were organized by the same company. No need to search for anything. Now I'm trying to find local running events.

I've tried to use the event search here, but the search does not work at all. Nothing happens. Another website I found only allows to search for all of Scotland (that's a slightly too big search area).

Any other suggesions on where to find local running events?

You can search by postcode on the events section of the Scottish Athletics website: http://events.scottishathletics.org.uk/events and a lot of local races also use Entry Central which allows you to narrow down events by distance.
