  My wife and I did the 30 odd mile version last year. Mostly off-road. Our one gripe was that it was very poorly-signed. Although a route map was provided it had detailed notes in very small print on the reverse of the map which was abit of a nightmare to read. Not gone back for that reason.

  Hi. I'm thinking of doing the Calder ultra too. Can' remember when it is but I'm interested but I'm new to fell running so I think I'll struggle whether the maps easy to read or not??
