Just turn up from 09:00 onwards; nothing overly formal it’s a café with a wonderful menu with a heap of UKish Comrades runners descending upon it wearing their UK T-Shirts or the Comrades goody bag one or indeed anything they damn well please, group photo around 11:00 then go for a stroll on the beach front; it’ll be good for your legs, even splash your toes in the Indian Ocean. Bruce’s after party at 12:30 is easily walkable or just hang at Mugg & Bean etc…

Sorry to hear you're not running; I'm hoping I'm in reasonable shape, though as it's taper time there's going to be a difference between reality and what's going on in my head!
big work deadlines have meant little sleep and no running - but at least they will be out of the way before the end of the month!

@ JKissane - hello and yes as Lowrez mentioned I'm the only other in Uhmlanga. I'm planning to run the Park Run there too which is a short jog to the start from where I'm staying. I expect to wear a club vest from Kent, Sevenoaks A.C. and I doubt there will be another! Let me know how I might recognise you! This is No.2 for me and back to back.

Thanks for that, I'll be arriving around lunchtime on Fri & my plan is to head to the expo & get that sorted out in the afternoon. Staying in a b&b (Villa Calla) around 8 mins walk from the main drag.
The parkrun on Sat is the one in Umhlanga itself rather than North Beach, this event - http://www.parkrun.co.za/umhlanga/
