Ultimate Trails 110k - gripe/query

I've entered the Ultimate Trails 110k but unfortunately a major family event now clashes. I've been emailing many(!) times over last couple of months to organisers (tried all their published addresses) to transfer entry to next year or to part refund (as per their rules). But no matter what I try I can't get a response or even acknowledgement. I don't think I can pass entry on to anyone else. 
I find the Lakeland Trails/Ultimate Trails - great, scenic courses and on the day (apart from odd glitch re stations running out of food in past) pretty well organised. But communication before and after is poor to say the least. Slow to issue results and timings and still haven't done split times for last July's race.
Any ideas?? - last thing I want to do is to let a place in the now fully subscribed race go to waste.

    David - oh that's really annoying.   Maybe see if there are different contact details through the organisation that's permitting the race, if it's TRA or whatever.   Or another race organiser in the same area of the country might know and have contact details?

    Coincidentally - after my rant here I got an email within 30 minutes confirming I could transfer entry to next years race. Success! :-)

    That is good news.   So frustrating though when folk don't reply to important emails straight away.

    Just to add a more positive note about Ultimate Trails. I have had really good experience with this organisation returning emails, both this year and previous when a family bereavement made a couple of races impossible.

    I got a response when I enquired about changing my entry too. Not sure what went wrong in your case, but at least they aren't always unresponsive.
