Any other broken Pirates?
okay, so breaking cover as a broken Pirate:
having managed a great year in 2016 with lots of training and action, my body decided to give me a slap down.
training with MS is a bastard, you can tick along and then your immune system goes into revenge mode and starts fucking with your nervous system with some fairly fun side effects.
Training has gone seriously south, with a fairly serious relapse: so this year is pretty much a write off. Some volunteering action is called for whilst I persuade my body not to keep on kicking me in the whatnots . . .
So, anybody else in black and yellow playing the fun game of spoons?

As already said in PMs, my sympathies mate, but look forward to hopefully seeing you at Outlaw and getting some first rate abuse off ya.
.... but having a year off racing, and just enjoying the training instead without the pressure of a race on the horizon.
Sorry to year of your setback, but will be at Holkham to cheer the pirate gang along (as well as race the 10k for a bit of fun on the sat), so really looking forward to meeting you at last!

Nothing as bad as that ... but I'm constantly dipping in and out of being broken ... I have a pretty screwed back ... I was told back in 2009 that I would not be able to do any more long stuff ...
... I ignored them and do the best I can
now then, 2018?
