I think that the Pirate crew are brilliant, and the Ironman events have got a special atmosphere, and a huge cachet amongst the general population.
I'm giving out a positive atmosphere, but being realistic today. My fitness is not too far away. But I may be preparing excuses for 2017. Why? I had a bit of an incident, simply falling off the bike. Complications? Broke skull a bit. Coma for 5 days. Scared wife and family because they thought I would die. That message is still coming across to me and I am starting to try to be a bit more risk averse. I'm sorry for the negativity, but I wish you ALL the very best. It's a test to push the human body, YOUR human body to the limits. If you believe you can do it, then you will train. If you train enough, then you WILL SUCCEED.
I have the fastest male one, ISB. I'll need to pass it to someone travelling to Hamburg - preferably someone in Surrey/South London where I can drop it off, or I can post it somewhere.
Blue Peter told me that Best Novice was to be given to Red Stripe (Zoe)
So I think they are all accounted for...
Proposal for Monday is Max & Consorten for at about 11:30 for a brunch... I know some have flights back in the afternoon. If anybody knows Hamburg and other Bar/Restaurants.. then please propose... Near station if possible.
