Calf a bit stiff this morning but not painful.  Eased after a bit of stretching (physio on Friday so not surprised it's a bit stiff as hadn't been treated for 5 weeks)

Oh has very stiff legs this morning.  Made me laugh!

Sounds like you had a good holiday Dustin.

Oh at least you didn't get wetter going in the sea!

Ale, cricket is not looking good.

Anyone watch the tennis yesterday? What was going on there?!

    Morning

    what - easy lunchtime run
why - getting back in the swing & club committee meeting tonight
    last rest - 04/07
last hard - 5am alarm clock...
  • Hope it's not been too much of a shock to the system Dustin. Your holiday sounds nice.

Keep the faith SC. Any signs of improvement?

Beautiful day here too emzap. I find the trick to managing the hunger monster after long runs is to get a good instant refuel (so within half an hour of finishing) usually peanut butter on toast with an apple for me at the minute but when I couldn't face eating immediately I'd go for a banana and peanut butter shake or similar (just a few carbs and some protein) then eat your next meal as usual within two hours. LOL at your OH:-)

Did you have nice weather for your walk too Poppy? Grace wanted a long one this morning but it was only around four miles.

Hope work doesn't stop play too much OH.

Anyone any idea what's going on with the huge gap under the opening post? I've noticed it when Poppy was starting the thread too.

Hi LMH. Pain subsiding, movement is still restricted. Itching to do stuff but realise patience will have to apply for at least another week, if not more. Ankle and calf support helping. Not really an issue when sitting and not to bad when following the Ale book of words on exercises, when I remember :-)

    Afternoon
6 mile walk this morning I needed gloves but the sun was poking through then another 1.25 to village and back and hour on exercise back and  rubbing of legs with The Stick...instrument of torture.

SC you are doing so well being patient I maybe on the Bench just as long we shall see.

    Wabo: enjoy the run tonight:-)
    ALF: Always a little further
    Miles makes smiles.

Hello!  Back from Feurtaventura or however you spell it.  Great week, had a wee run 6 of the 7 days.

5 miles yesterday when I got back and 4 today, started too fast today and paid the price.  Should know better.

Hope everyone not running gets back to it soon.

    Lyrics, nope.

    Afternoon!

So, that's me finished at work until mid-September, unless I get a call, although have a couple of leavers assemblies to attend.

No whats or whys nor lyrics.

    Cricket sounds grim, Emz.

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
