Difference between AW and SS shoes?
I see shoes being offered in AW version and SS version. Is there a significant difference? SS available much cheaper.
AW autumn winter, SS spring summer, also will have a year. It tells you when shoe was first released.

Wot Mr Worry said.
Most manufacturers will have released their new season (AW17/18) range of shoes which will have a different colour scheme and may or may not have been tweaked in terms of materials and technology used.
As a result, SS shoes will now be being discounted to clear old stock.
Thanks. SS ones were great value but predictably they didn't have them in my size
So SS don't necessarily have better waterproofing than AW? Not that it really matters tbh - if it's wet you are going to get wet no matter what your running shoes claim.
