Is that with 3 before the official one? What time will you have to start on the Friday? I’m sure enough of us can be around to help you out with food/drinks on your laps!
Change of plan, Ralph. Was going to do a single marathon and then nip over to Dublin for theirs but that's not working out now.
Instead it will be 4 x 6h15 marathons with 30-minute recoveries. You could call it interval training. None of this 400m nonsense for me.
So, it will mean a 1415 start on the Friday after registration (which I hope will open at 1200?!) and a pre-run feast at Pantri.
I'll be looking at resupply at 2030 (race start area), 0315 (High St), and 1000 (race start). The 0315 resupply will be tricky - I don't expect anyone to get up at that time of the morning! - I'll hide some bottles in the hedge or something.
Talking about epic challenges (actually mine bears no comparison), is anyone else watching the Spine Race live tracking? Absolutely fascinating, with Jim Mann storming in the lead - but how long can he keep that rate up with three or four top level competitors chasing him?
They've had a day of heavy rain and now dropping temperatures and heavy snow up in the northern Pennines to come. The 268-mile course record is 95 hours but could go this year?
I only have to read what you're planning and my legs start to ache T Rex... lol.. Fair play. I just wouldn't have the balls to even try. I'm sure my body would fall apart before I got anywhere near close to finishing.

Every time I wake up in the morning, they're still out there and moving!
Sure we can work something out although it may be the self service checkout at 0010!!
