Osgood Schlatters and running?

Anyone have any experience with Osgood Schlatters or as I call it my 'double knees'  :#

Was diagnosed with this as a kid told the bumps under my kneecaps would disappear after my teens but they never have basically and I'm 27 now  :| Doesn't seem to be much info on it for adults online and as it's not really giving me any pain when I run or anytime really unless I kneel or fall on them I've kind of just fobbed it off

Should I be taking any precautions when running?
