anyone know about the fast start as last few years I thought we were contacted about these.
Yes , i am in the same boat. I have been ill since start of feb and missed 2 months of running with only a couple of 18milers and a 16 miler. normally run sub 3:15 but hope to run around 3:40 with such little traning. Done that before and providing you are realistic you are fine. Just missing 2 long runs is more of a mental thing than physical. You will surprise yourself.
If i was you and missed a couple of weeks i would aim for a sub 3:15 with a back up plan B of 3:20 or dissaster plan C of 3:30.
I think you have lost very little fitness.
I on the other hand am totally F**ked! but will still get round!

Weather looking better now...forecast 13 degrees, cloud, sun, 16 % rain.
