    Morning!

    Lyrics: yes

What: may well have a rest day, or a walk.

Why: calf trouble, Achilles trouble, back trouble plus work. To be fair the back is considerably better.

Entertaining game between our teams, Wabo! And come on Fulham this evening!

    Right, must iron some shirts...

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • Morning.

A glorious one here, tomorrow is forecast to be nice too and no work until Wednesday (apart from some online cpd) so I'd like to make the most of it, legs willing.

Hope you manage your 9 miles Poppy.

It was the right decision not to do the distance yesterday Benjy, save it for Sunday.

Is everything ok to walk Alehouse or does that aggravate something? I'd always rather get out if I can.

    What:           easy miles
Why:            I don't like running hard
Last hard:    making myself do yesterday's race
    Last rest:     4/5

Lyrics - not sure I do.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

Welsh: Lovely weather here already at this time, perfect for a 9, enjoy

Ale: Have a good rest and let it ease, good to hear back is feeling better than previous. Remeber to starch those collars.

LMH: Online CPD, remember that well when I was teaching. Enjoy your miles today, it is a belter of a day.

Bike to work this morning, bike back, hope it stays nice.

What: 6 or 7 after work with my 'Deni' hat if no cloud cover

Why: Just to get out, get moving, see the environment

    Lyrics: Classic!

I quite like Spurs! Well they are the London team that I most prefer. And I'd be very certain that most of you know the lyrics...and, WP,  it is as the lyrics say, here at least.

    Hello all.
Lots of good miles going in and great report LMH...well done.
Ale: Hope things improve this week. Not sure what's being put in  the water of our poster from the North! Looking forward to next Crime Watch update. Wabo: Glad I'm not the only one who does odd miles for car collection! RFJ: Hope you take the advice and get assessed soon. WP enjoy your 9.? as you won't do a round number :-)

  • SC - was that a top ten finish despite having an svt? Hope the five today pick you up.

DD - you're building the mileage nicely. Are you doing any tris this year. Nice day for a bike ride if your weather is anything like ours.

    Nice to exceed expectations Poppy.

Sounds as though you're on the mend Wabo.

The run was a lot more enjoyable than the cpd Benjy:-) Hope you need your hat later.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

If it was going to happen I'm glad it waited until you'd nearly finished SC. We all have those slow motion runs - you got out and got the miles done, that's what counts.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
  • Latest reports are that the travellers have all recongregated in Durness. They are said to have now grouped in rival gangs and are due to meet for a standoff at the Sango Sands bar this evening. It is believed that the battle for the top dog position could be fierce.
  • Great day weatherwise.
One of our Orkney group stepped on a rusty sharp fence remnant puncturing her shoe and heel during pre-race off road toilet stop. DNS  and may not run for rest of week :'(

Not a great race for me. Uncomfortably hot for me (19C) and sore feet due to wrong choice of shoes. Personal worst. Down the snake(s and ladder) again.

    Last hard today
    Last rest yesterday
    Next race tomorrow

4 miles at 06:10 and then 5 miles at 12:10.  Beautiful day.

    Lyrics, yet again, no!
  • Blimey OH - that's hotter than we were forecast for today! Sorry to here about the Orkney runner - potentially nasty injury though I'm sure she's been well looked after. Pub quiz tonight then?

Sounds as though your hamstring is 100% now Donaldo?
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

Donaldo 4 fast miles then 5 really slow....that hamstring must be hurting :-)
