Morning!
The first 10 mins of the game were good though
And there was more running going on in those 10mins than in the whole 90 when the Germans played.
Lyrics: Trying to make ends meet, you're a slave to the money then you die.
Yesterday's were Loser, Beck.
Just back from a 10 mile run. Warm already.
Comments
Wondering where Benjy is this week: lost in the sea fret?
I was right - I didn't know yesterday's lyrics - but I do know both of today's.
Nice to have your run done early chicksta.
Hope the hydrotherapy helps Alehouse.
What: short and easy/finishing MiL's cake
Why: legs need it and work limits time/it's her birthday
Last hard: mile 13 yesterday wasn't easy
Last rest: 12/6
Lyrics - yes.
Tired, and all set to be another sizzler here...
What - easy miles at lunchtime
Why - recovery , getting some sun
last rest - 1/6
last hard - probably last night. Club Mob Match against another local club. Just shy of 50 runners , not bad given it clashed with the football. It's a long climb up for a mile, short, flat stretch across the top, lovely long descent back down before another short , nasty climb back to the finish. All in 2.5 miles all trail much of it very wild! Grass longest I've seen it for a while.
Waltzed round in just a shade under 18 minutes which I was fairly happy with given the state of the legs.
Chick great job on your run this morning:-)
What: Nowt
Why: Felt sick with the heat and went back to bed for 3 hours
Last hard : See above/sleeping I hate this heat!
Lyrics: Nope and nope to yesterday but did know Ale's
Miles makes smiles.
Progression
what: volunteer strimming on St Magnus Way
why: needed (shoulder high nettles)
poron insoles arrive today - hopefully they'll help on Sunday
lyrics no
Is that term finished, Don?
Hope the insoles help, OH!
Sounds tough, Dustin, on top of your other recent outings!
Worked hard in the hydrotherapy session: back coping a lot better but knee wasn't to the extent that the physio wants me to try and organise a scan as there is now a debate as to whether it is a meniscus or collateral ligament injury and these are treated slightly differently, I understand.
I think your legs deserve a bit of a break Dustin!
Sorry you felt too unwell to run Poppy.
You seem to be having more than your share of misfortune Alehouse.
Rest day tomorrow.
Sunday:
Warm for Orkney (16-18C). Dry. No wind.
Have been recommended to try with just the insoles leaving standard insoles out. This also results in slightly less drop as standard insoles are more built up at heel.
Bit hot for us northerners!
What: a couple of short works followed by beer festival
Why: what I could fit around work and it's a good event even though I don't like many beers
Last hard: sleeping in the heat!
Lyrics: nope
Ale what did you do in a former life?!
Have a lovely evening all
