Today's lyrics: live til tomorrow - survive
Yesterday's were The heat is on, Glenn Frey
Wabo: understand about pulling out. Glad you guys found another event. My goodness, 100 miles!!
LMH: nice to get some zip back just in time
Ale: that's some fast running, ag treadie or not. Hope knee is ok?
24 degrees at 4am again. So another slow plod coming up.
Comments
I'll swap chicksta - heavy rain here - it will be full waterproofs for Grace's walk and hope it dries up in time for me to get out for my MLR, working at midday so can't delay it and next opportunity is Thursday.
What: short and easy or MLR
Why: heavy rain/tapering
Last hard: feeling as though the summer is over
Last rest: 12/6
Lyrics - no.
Really LmH you spoil that dog, does she really need full waterproofs...???
Actually bright here in old London town and made it in despite South West Guards having another day off.
What - coaching paarlaufs for the group, hoping to do some 400s myself
why - routine speedwork
last rest - 02/07
last hard - yesterday - QoP visit , a few needles in a niggly glute had me jumping a bit. Her elbows never get any less brutal in the ITBs either.
lyric - not sure I do
Lyrics: no
What: Pilates type exercise this evening
Why: it is Tuesday and not risking running the day after a hard run session. Legs feel fine though!
Very grey here at present.
Wabo: both Elvis and Assembly this week? I suggest you work in kilometres not miles: you get an even bigger number! Something like 144-145! And re the alter-g, it is brilliant as it off-loads weight so that you can run even with some quite serious injuries or for recovery from ops. Expensive though otherwise I would be using it more often.
Although the day started or my run started dry I am afraid the last 3 miles were bouncing off the pavement type Welsh rain;-)
What: 8.1 miles
Why: because I can
Last hard: Getting out of bed
Lyrics: Nope
With the cooler weather I am having trouble getting out of bed.
End of month stats:
Rest days 1......a new PB ever!!
Races 0
Miles for July 237.01 a pb for 2018
Best month of the year:-)
Miles makes smiles.
Progression
Impressive stats, poppy. You must be pleased.

Happy to report 11 and a bit miles done (18k in my money )
I was sweating profusely but legs felt surprisingly good and pace wasn't as bad as I'd feared.
Miles for July were 89 as predicted, happy with that
Benjy, have a good day with whatever times allows

WP oh gawd here's me all happy with 89 miles! I really do not know how you do such mileage!! Amazing woman!

dustin enjoy the paarlaufs, oh QoP, those elbows are calling me I think...
LMH have a good mlr or short and easy, our rain was through the night I think
What: nice 2.5 miles solo this morning before work
why: had the time (prob had time for more really but races coming up)
last hard: this morning
last rest: 31/12/16
have a good day all
Chick: I am over the moon who would have thought on my comeback 3 years ago I could be able to run this distance certainly not me.I am sure your miles for this month is high with marathon training?
Miles makes smiles.
Progression
Good to get them in the bank chicksta.
She's getting old Dustin

Nice consistency Poppy.
Hope you had a lovely day at the show Benjy.
Amazingly the rain went from heavy to nothing whilst I was faffing getting ready to run so MLR done. I guess that should be my longest run before the half now.
What: rest
Why: went for an 8 km yesterday, got to 2, felt awful so turned back.
Last hard: yesterday
Lyrics: nope (Ben your James bond made me laugh!).
Have a lovely evening all.
