Had a little chuckle at that OH - you'll have to get your OCD in check You've completed your mandatory swim bit early this month.
We're forecast wet too chicksta - typically tomorrow when I'm most time limited is forecast cold but still and dry, isn't it always the way? Any news on your request to reduce your days?
Hope you had a better night Alehouse. Mine was disturbed by my coughing again but I feel better in myself.
What: hopefully a MLR but short and easy if not Why: get me through the day Last hard: family dynamics/politics (Mark's) Last rest: 27/11
Lyrics - feel I should but can't say I do.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
Morning chaps, a slovenly Saturday for me, spent all day saying "I'm off to the gym", then it got too late to go, was just shattered. Yesterday did gym early morning, then out all day. (Fri after posted got out for 7.5 instead of 6).
What: A good run at lunchtime
Why: Really need to get out
Lyrics: Yes
Have a good one, still dark so can't see how wet it is.
Ale 12. Then 2 weeks off, 3 days at work, 2 weeks off! Need the rest. I think buying a house, changing jobs, getting married, 2 renovation projects and dealing with family issues are enough for one year! Though saying that, next renovations are currently being planned...
Speaking of which, Lmh where did you get your kitchen from? Are the problems fixed now, or do you just have to put up with it?
Morning Ohh Emz - I'm jealous What - easy run at lunchtime Why - recovery and managing the knee last rest - 10/11 last hard - the weekend: Saturday was our club hosting County XC. So there at 9 to check course, sort marshals and officials, then team manage the younger lot. Decided to run after all, but lets say it was more 'running around' than racing. Not too quick (averaged 7:20s) but needed the exercise! Yesterday was 11 miles in miserable weather. Knee still not playing the game, but have fizz again tomorrow and seeing their knee specialist. I'm sure I'll get told to rest and get an MRI. (....bottom lip wobbles)
What : easy run 8 miles d&d easy ride gym pm Why : hard efforts over the weekend Last hard : the weekend Last rest : 31st October Lyrics : yes
Having again had a proper race only to come 2nd again at parkrun on Saturday I raced on the bike on Sunday coming 11th in the West Midlands CX champs. There was a lot of running for a bike race so my legs are happy with a very easy day.
Slightly better run on saturday at the essex vets, better pace anyway. Sounds like you did well Gobi dustin, oh I can imagine, i hope the knee is ok emzap that is an awful lot!! alehouse short and easy sounds good, hope it went or goes ok (I can't discuss football....) WP hope the run went well benjy hope the lunchtime run was good LMH was it MLR or short and easy? Hope family stuff sorts itself chick, feel I should know your lyrics too, enjoy the gym, airless room nooooo
Little Cleo called me 7.45 on sunday, can we park run? Course we can says nanna. When we arrived it was muddy and windy, not nice. First lap I thought, mmm she is not liking (mummy had told me she changed her mind at 8.15 but was told you cant wake nanna up then change your mind) Quite right! Anyway, she didn't pb or pw. 3 things she learnt and overcome, 1. windy makes it harder, 2. Muddy does as well, and 3. not wanting to makes it even worse!!! I said on lap 2 I promise you will feel good that you did it. She did.
What: 1 mile squeezed this morning and another to be squeezed later why: taking cleo trampolining later and had family duties this am last hard: watching spurs (got a migraine) last rest: 31/12/16 day 702 d&d Have a good day all
possunt quia posse videntur - we can because we know we can
A good lesson for little Cleo there Wabo. I stuck it out for a MLR but it was pretty dire.
Glad you're happy with your cx race Gobi.
Not sleeping any better but feeling better than yesterday emzap - not that that was difficult. My kitchen came from Magnet, nothing wrong with the product though it was the guy who did the design that was at fault. Problem on going, complaint is being looked at by the furniture ombudsman. That's a nice lot of leave to look forward to - are you going away?
Hope you avoided the rain with your later run Poppy. I was soaked within seconds of heading out and it was cold and windy too, a slow and unpleasant run but I'm sure there will be worse as I train for London.
You must have needed the day off Benjy.
Fingers crossed the knee specialist physio can help Dustin. You seem to be managing to run quite well on it.
Good to hear that you're feeling better Alehouse.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
Today's lyrics were picked for those on here that are currently unwell
Wow, a bit jealous of your break, em but you had a hard year.
Well toughed out, LMH. I'm just glad I won't be running a marathon this spring. Long runs in the cold and all that miserable running in the dark does my head in.
Nearly there re. part time contract. I have verbal approval but nothing in writing yet.
Hope your family politics are sorted.
On a more positive note: I got into Berlin though the ballot. Quite pleased with that.
Dustin: hope the knee specialist has some answers.
Wabo: well done Cleo. Next time in the sun will be enjoyable again.
Poppy: sounds like you're on the mend.
Well raced, Gobi. I think I wrote xc yesterday goes to show I'm clueless about biking

Why: slowly easing myself in
Last hard: resting!
Lyrics: nope
Lmh glad you slept better. Sorry to hear about family politics.
Now counting down working days till I'm off!
Have a lovely day all
Sorry was missing yesterday not enough time in the day but my first run to test Asthma and it passed 4.6 miles but on the flat.
Ale: How is Asthma@?
Em: Are you feeling better?
Chick: Enjoy the gym if you can;-)
LMH: I hope you stay dry!
What: We shall see anywhere between 4-8miles
Why: Because I can
Last hard: Sleeping so went back to bed for 2 hours more
Lyrics: Nope
Due to my late start it looks like I will miss the torrential rain so that is a plus point and run in daylight.
Miles makes smiles.
Progression
Lyrics: no
Yesterday's lyrics, as everyone knew, were The Sound of Silence, Simon and Garfunkel.
What: short and easy run
Why: what I will be doing this week.
Feeling and sleeping a good deal better, but still a good way to go!
So how many working days until you are off, Emz...and will you be off?
