Thursday 27th December 2018 - I won't be here when you come home

Morning.

Lyrics - I won't be here when you come home

I think the supermarkets were probably a different experience to sale shopping emzap.

What:             short and easy/maybe gym
Why:              ran longer yesterday/Mark is saying he wants to go
Last hard:      I'm keeping it easy
Last rest:       27/11
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

  • Morning!

    Lyrics: no

What: hopefully a longer run, although short by most on here

Why: last visitor (younger son) will have departed by lunchtime. Hopefully the legs will play today.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • What: taxi duties, maybe swim
5.5 miles yesterday. Daughter's still home.
    Last rest Christmas day
Yesterday was fairly hard as stuffed
    Lyrics no
  • I seemed to have missed  three days worth;-)
But I have run every day 6,9,6:-)

    What: 5 miles
Why: I got up late and tired
Last hard: Getting out of bed/realising I need to wash some running kit!!
Lyrics: Yes and I knew all of the past 4 days:-(

Running going well and glad to get back to normal again!
    ALF: Always a little further
    Miles makes smiles.
    Progression
  • Change of plan - Grace wanted a long walk after which Mark decided that he wanted to take his bike out for a couple of hours so no gym but a MLR.

    Good to see you Poppy.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

    Afternoon All
What - easy run this morning, club session tonight 5x800s - will be taking it easy (see below)
Why - routine / It was marathon session yesterday (delayed from Tuesday) 14 & 12 minute LTPs with 4 min easy between. Wasn't sure how the knee/legs would hold up, but happy to hit 7:0s for the full set. Around 20-30s off where I should be but I've been slower in week one than this...Around 9 miles in total.
    Last Rest - 2 weeks
    Last Hard - Boxing Day
  • Oops just noticed butcher's apostrophe above  :open_mouth:

  • OH: if it is only one daughter that is fine, as in "daughter is"; don't tell me that more than one daughter is still with you...

Legs really didn't want to play this afternoon so yet another shortish run, despite my good intentions.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • 3 daughters back for Christmas.
One now heading south again (Edinburgh via Penrith!)

I am let off: Autocorrect tried to insert the apostrophe again!
  • No running today but 250m swum

Autocorrect is, of course, always right. It corrects my sister-in-law from Muriel to murder, after all.

Hope the swim was none of this indoor lark.
