Sharp Shooting Pain - Top of right foot

Evening all,
I have a sharp shooting pain in my right foot, kind of on top but towards the outside edge of the foot. I can trace it back to starting just after a half marathon I completed late October.
I usually only run 20 ish km per week over 3 runs and have continued to do so. When I have footwear on the pain is not there.....It's worse when i have no shoes on and I am walking around the flat.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
