How do you keep stone out of your shoes?
I wear those low profile ankle socks with my trainers and running tights, but occasionally small stones flick up and get into my shoe, and obviously this is annoying and can cause rubs.
I'm upping my mileage so don't want to be stopping and emptying my shoes mid-run.
Is there anything you can wear to stop this? Longer socks won't help I don't think because these little stones are getting in between my shoe and sock.
Any ideas?

I don't run off road but it happens to me too sometimes on the road, elastic laces have helped but I think it's more due to my style of running that causes it
