hi all, anyone any experience of this? Diagnosis of osteo in right hip, early days but the thought of this getting worse... *shudder*
now have similar pain in left hip but there are races I want to do... about to start running again after a lot of hip strength exercises etc referred by physio when I didn’t know it was arthritis. Anybody managing it and running regularly?

However, you should reduce your weight, use cold or hot pads and regularly perform the prescribed exercises. Indeed, there is no permanent solution to this problem.

I also find it helpful to take regular breaks in my running routine and to switch up my activities to give my joints a break. With proper attention to these things, I have been able to maintain a regular running routine despite my osteoarthritis.
