Anyone tried odd shoes?

My left leg is longer than my right ( mild childhood polio) but has a smaller foot. My right foot overpronates but my left foot is neutral. I have tried both types of shoes and am currently in neutrals but am experiencing right side sciatica. I am tempted to try odd shoes - anyone done this ?

The usual solution is to have orthotics made for you so that then you can run comfortably in neutral shoes.  I think  running in odd shoes could lead to injury, you'd need shoes that were built on identical lasts and have identical heel drop etc.

Depending on how much smaller your left foot is I would suggest that you use shoes to fit the bigger foot and use elastic laces to get a snug fit.
