Was trying to set the lyrics, Wabo, but my laptop keeps shutting down. Enjoy the concert!
Yesterday's lyrics were Oasis with Roll With It. Having to roll with the weather at present. Got soaked on yesterday's run and the same may well happen today.
What: short run at least
Why: want more but legs niggling
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
Hiya What - easy lunchtime, coaching village rabble tonight Why - Wednesday last rest - 10-11 days? last hard - yesterday I guess. Hill reps at the club, managed 6 steadyish , legs a bit jaded still as expected but nice to get some work done. lyrc - think so
Poppy I feel really tired as well. You are right 4.5 better than nothing, hope it felt ok dustin I can measure my weeks by your posts! Consistently consistent!!
possunt quia posse videntur - we can because we know we can
Hazel: LT runs are fun in half harathon training, less so in marathon training when you're upping the mileage at the same time and the legs start to protest
Sorry to hear your legs are niggling, ale.
Poppy: damn right, better than nothing. Hope the tiredness eases.
Have fun tomorrow, wabo
Well done on the hills, Dustin.
What: 14 miles Why: ramping it up Last hard: yesterday Last rest: 25/5 Lyrics: I think so
Late post from me - I’m on holiday Wabo, hence not starting the thread.
My right knee is still swollen and niggly and it was grey and blowy this morning so no run but Mark and I set off to walk to Torquay just before 0800hrs, finally arriving home around 1700hrs having walked nearly 19 miles according to my Garmin with heaven only knows how much ascent.
You sure seem to be racking up the miles chicksta. Everything feeling ok?
Sorry to hear you’re still feeling tired Poppy.
Did you cop another soaking Alehouse? No rain here today.
Sounds as though you’re recovering well Dustin.
What’s next race wise Hazel?
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
Sounds like harder work than your marathon, LMH! Didn't get soaked today, although it hasn't really stopped drizzling since early morning. Only a short run: easier to say which bit of my legs aren't niggling! Was cold as well as damp and I wore full wet-suit over thermals plus a hat! Must be nearly mid-summer! Thought about gloves! 8 degrees but felt colder in the breeze. Did have a nice soaking in the bath afterwards: a well-known supermarket's version of OH's Radox!
It does indeed sound like you are racking up the miles, Chick: be careful!

Pyramids That's what Ian (coach) said Cold and windy today ( boats possibly cancelled tomorrow) Tonight was a bit of an effort Last rest: yesterday (skipped badminton) Lyrics: no
9°C + significant wind chill here but possibly drier than other areas. Bruises much improved but quite tired this week (can't think why ) BTW Radox was raffle winnings from Dounby RNLI 5k a few weeks back.
Happy post alert..... Lethbridge 10k hoping to get somewhere around my Limassol time (47:02)
basically the 1m is us undulating and the aim was just to keep it steady, then picked up the pace on the 2 m long gradient down.... then a flatish mile before the long gradient up then a sprint for the finish.... no issues with the leg and surprised with the strength up the gradient.
upshot finish with a chip time 46:12 so chuffed to bits, foul conditions not added with the course being on muddy paths, so even better....
Splits 7:44, 7:09, 7:10, 7:20, 7:29, 7:38 and 1;45 last bit....

Marshalling at midweek series. Torrential rain started just before the start.
Walked 5 km today.
Kitchen still dry and internal wooden walls now in place. Hoping it gets warmer and drier soon though as it's not nice washing up in this!
Sounds like a nice walk lmh but hope knee is ok.
Have a lovely evening
