Hi everyone, hopefully someone can help me, im 30 years old and love my running. I do more obstacle course racing but do enjoy road running (sometimes) lol
For the past few weeks I’ve been feeling very fatigued, very heavy legs and every run feels heard, even the gentle runs feel tough. Even when not running legs are heavy etc.
I’ve never really had a running plan just kinda do what i feel like on the day, i only do that as i feel like my legs never rest due to being an electrician wire houses all day (up stairs, <a rel="nofollow" href="

Im terrible for stretching and don’t really do it (which i know isn’t going to help).
Hopefully someone can give some advice as i feel like I'm a very healthy person who doesn’t smoke or drink, but every run seems to be my heart rate is at a steady rate but legs have nothing to give.
Thank You

If you're feeling tired generally and HR is higher than normal possibility that you could be anaemic? You'd need to see your GP to get tested for this.
Maybe just cut your mileage for a week or two and only do runs at easy pace and see if your energy levels return.

Thanks for the reply. Well i drink 4-5liters a day but do sometimes feel like i want more just gets a bit boring the water.
resting heart rate is pretty good at a average of 38bpm.
ive cut loads back this week and legs feel a little bit better so many was over doing it?
That's good that your legs feel a bit better, see how you are in a few days and then reassess. It could be that you had a bit of a virus, not enough to show a lot of symptoms but enough to drain you of your energy.
