Morning,
Lyrics:
Bobby's got a gun that he keeps beneath his pillow
Em: Are you and Lucas sleeping peacefully RFJ: That sounds a good plan and I am sure you will reap the benefits to keep you running .
What: Run
Why: Because I can
Last hard: Hamstring
September Stats:
Races 1
Miles 206.67....highest month this year!
PB 1 post achilles
Rest days 0....another first!
I am hoping to get back to 8+ miles today
Comments
Hope you are having some extra sleep emzap.
You've also been ill RFJ. I hope the new regime helps - when can you join the gym and get started?
Hope you manage the longer run Poppy.
You definitely sounded as though you were enjoying the day Wabo.
We are forecast a wet day with the wind rising. Winter is approaching :-(
What: short and easy
Why: weather
Last hard: watching the winter approach
Last rest: 27/7
Lyrics - I can guess who they're by but I can't name that tune.
Poppy amazing miles!
Lmh enjoy the short and easy, agree about winter, heating not been on yet but my house feels a Bit chilly
I did have a lovely day but more important my daughter did.
What only a couple this morning
Why off to spurs later and weather better early
Last hard yesterday
Last rest 31/12/16
Highest September miles ever, 126 ish I think.
Lmh hope work managed to keep your kid a bit occupied yesterday. When does your taper start?
No extra sleep here, just a very odd version of desert island discs with no inspiration for lyrics. I'd thought of some at 9pm yesterday but by 2am I'd forgotten them!
Yesterday's were Leonard Cohen and the Partisan.
Have a great day all
Lyrics: no
Won't mention my paltry monthly kms.
Enjoy Spurs, Wabo!
What: stretching routine
Why: it is supposed to help
Wet here, and it looks like it has been wet all night and is going to be wet for most of the day. Big change coming: tomorrow morning it is supposed to be close to a frost! Heating is on this morning and certainly will be tomorrow!
Wet, wet, wet here too Alehouse. Loads of flooding and the forecast light rain until 0900hrs is most definitely heavy. Currently trying to decide whether to suck it up and get out and soaked (it's too warm for my OMM jacket) or whether to opt for the gym and less miles.
LMH: Maybe I am a little predictable with my choice's
No heating on here I am resisting it for as long as possible.
Great monthly mileage Hazle and wabo:-)
Miles makes smiles.
Progression
WP - good mielage
LmH - not enough cake ;-)
Hazel - good session
What - club night - mile reps on grass
Why - on the schedule
last rest - Saturday
last hard - will be today
lyric - don't think so
Filthy here too Poppy. Typically the heavy rain came in early - Met says this is going to last all day so I decided I may just as well get out and get it done. Loads of flooding, ankle deep and above and impassable in places. Just as I finish my run - the rain stops!
On grass Dustin? I hope you don't get his rain then.
How annoying, LMH! Heavy rain here too. Just as well I'm not back to running yet. Those ankle deep puddles in Berlin were annoying enough. At least my shoes are now dry again
Suprisingly the costume survived the soaking. So it may get another outing in Cape Town next year for the friendship run
Dustin: Mile reps on grass, my that sounds tough. I'd be scared to go over my ankle.
Well done on your miles, Poppy, Hazel and Wabo.
RFJ: You're doing well with your running.
Hazel: tough 800s!
Frost tomorrow, ale? Winter is coming early …
Em: Deutsche Bahn behaved ok yesterday, thankfully. Our train was 25mins late which is totally acceptable after the horrendous storms we had. In any case, I commuted for over 12 years on Great Eastern into London so I'm used to non-functioning infrastructure
September mileage was 231 for me
What: still nothing
Why: recovery and the need for a mental break
Last hard: dusting off my boots and saying bye-bye to sandals. First time in months that I felt it's adequate to wear boots to work.
Last rest: yesterday
Lyrics: yes
(a mere 113 for me)
Working then badminton
Why: Allow my hands to recover (solvent abuse )
Last hast hard getting kitchen back in working order after 2nd coat.
I also had a solitary Tupperware "party" yesterday evening discarding all those without a matching top or bottom.
Lyrics no
Sunny with showers today.
Glad you made it home safely chicksta. Definitely boot weather here. I managed another short walk in the dry but it's raining again. I was thinking of attempting my LSR tomorrow but I don't know where I could run that won't be badly flooded so I think Thursday may be the better option. Finding a ten mile route again tomorrow is likely to be difficult.
