    Morning!

Just missed starting the thread by seconds. Glad I checked!

    Why: work first

    It's cold!

And we well raced yesterday, Wabo!
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • Morning!

nasty OH.  Hope you are feeling much better in the meantime.

    How were the intervals Dustin?

Love a thunderstorm from a safe location LMH.  Hope you had a nice outing.  Beach walking and running can be pretty tough.  Not that I get a chance to do it very often.

    Good shoe bargain WP.

Tip regarding cheese fondue - use pieces of potato / small whole ones instead of chunks of bread - delicious (and gf).  Was a very nice evening - 25 attendees.

Well done on your race Wabo.

    What: shortish recovery at lunchtime
    Why: no time for more
    Last rest: 04.11

  • Morning.

Absolutely none Dustin, just running because I want to and love being able to, especially in the warm! Hope your hamstring is ok today?

No news yet then Wabo? Well done on the race and medal.

Good idea with the potato Hazel. Glad you had a nice evening. Yesterday’s beach walk ended up being a bit more than planned at nine miles, just as well I’m not doing much running. 😊

Can’t believe you’re poorly again Poppy - maybe it’s time to see your GP?

Hope it dries up for your run Alehouse. Haven’t checked our forecast yet. Last night they were talking about a cold front coming in at the weekend- I hope they are wrong. A shorter swim was very refreshing after our walk.

    Why:           Enjoying my holiday
Last hard:    I’m not doing hard

  • Evening!

Was crisp and cold this morning but by lunch it had started pouring...and has continued ever since. Was working (and am for the rest of the week) so run was short, wet and dark. Pavements are dreadful: wet leaves hiding a multitude of sins!

Have my new Garmin 45: will take some time to get used to it I suspect. Very complicated! Just been watching a DCRainmaker tutorial. Will need to watch a few times I suspect.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • I don’t want it to cool down!

Just arrived back at the apartment from our trolley/walk excursion as the heavens opened, hoping it will pass through quickly as it’s still really hot and we were planning a little swim 😊
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
  • I might be looking for a new garmin myself soon, my Vivoactive 3 has been having problems with its GPS signal recently, showing me running across fields a mile away from the road I'm on.

Never had neuralgia Chick , but it's meant to be awful, hope it eases.

Ran to the club tonight was going to do a few tempo intervals but ended up doing 5x 1k at just slower than 5k pace as I felt pretty good. Ten miles total. Think my recovery is pretty much done.
