  • Morning!

Lyrics: yes. And I see you have the month right, Emz!

What: short run, long fitness suite

Why: being careful; ran more yesterday than I have for many a month! Since August 17th in fact, so close to three months. Better get back to it!

Crisp, cold and sunny here.  2 degrees.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • Morning.

How does everything feel today Alehouse?

No sleeping in this morning then emzap?

    What:            Short and easy
    Why:              It’s a holiday
Last hard:     Choosing just two flavours of ice cream
    Last rest:       2/11

    Lyrics - yes.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

Up at 1, 4 and 6 this morning! Then managed to go back to bed from 7-9.30, unheard of for me!

Lucas begins swimming lessons (I'm not sure how much teaching goes on) today. I will be watching from the sidelines whilst my oh goes in with him

Can you work your way through the ice cream flavours throughout your trip lmh?
  • I don’t think we have enough time left emzap! The salted caramel was the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a few) so not sure if I could forgo more of that either, it’s a hard life 😊 Lucas does have an active social life - hope he takes to the water.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
  • Afternoon!

Legs felt tired today, but equally so, LMH

Hope Lucas took to the water ok, Emz

  • Not sure about the ice cream here today, lots of frost this morning, I'm having a nice hot chocolate after my run.

Babies seem to take to the water well, so I'm sure he'll be fine Emz.

Go for 3 types of ice cream LMH, you are on holiday.

Abs are fine emzap, my softie desk job hands didn't really appreciate wielding broom and shovel though.
Hope Lucas enjoyed his first splash.

Nice sounding race coming up then WP.

Nice hill work chamolk.  I guess you are not spoilt for choice for hills to use.

Similar conditions here this morning Ale once the fog had lifted.  Hope the legs recovery soon.

Salted caramel ice cream, yum! I'm salivating at the thought, LMH. Enjoy.

10 miler on NY day sounds great, poppy.

Nice progression run, Hazel. My softie desk job hands complain after gardening too. And after weights sessions at the gym.

    Nice recovery week total, chamolk.

Gorgeous day for running here. Cool, crisp, sunny, no wind. Lovely. Only my place was a shocker but I put that down to my infected tooth. Made sure I kept the HR below 120 so as easy as can be.

  • I don’t think I could manage three Hazel! Nice progressive run.

Your legs are probably still getting over your hilly holiday miles too chicksta.

Hope you enjoyed your swim OH.

Hills are so good for you chamolk - unfortunately my knees don’t like them.

I think you may be kept waiting a day or two Wabo.

Good that you were able to get out again Poppy.

    Sounds positive Alehouse.

Hi RFJ - long time no see, good to hear that you’re still enjoying your running.

Seven miles for me on a chilly (relatively speaking of course) and breezy morning. It had warmed up by the end and was lovely for the six mile walk with Mark that followed. Out to see a drum circle on the beach this afternoon so more walking (and trolley riding) will happen but a few less miles than this morning I think.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
