Morning!
Lyrics: Woke up this morning feelin' fine
There's somethin' special on my mind
What: short run, possibly short fitness suite
Why: work, then tomorrow off to London prior to LFoM on Friday
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Enjoyed the football last night but watched at home. I've given up my ticket for Saturday to babysit only to find out I'm not babysitting :-(
I'm not sure I'd have been happy with a sandwich in the circumstances Hazel!
Do you know what your track session is going to be OH?
Really not feeling great after my walk - even considering a rest day:-(
LMH: I will be running around a 400m track anticlockwise 16x with some variation of speed in attempt to make it more interesting ... In other words, what Ian (coach) decides on night.
Hazel: Oh no on pizza and just a sandwich....
LMH: If you need a rest day your body will tell you:-)
What:6.5 miles
Why: Body said let us do this
Last hard: Torrential rain for run!
Lyrics: Yes
Just slow and easy building the miles up and hoping to knock the fatigue on the head.
Miles makes smiles.
Progression
Sorry to hear you're unwell, LMH. Hope it's short-lived. Deffo not the right time to run fast if you're not feeling 100%. How about some fartlek style stuff when you feel better? I. e. no structure just things like run hard to the next tree/lamp post/landmark, jog a bit, repeat. Or do some 100m strides? They don't need to be accurate. You could also go by time, i.e. 30secs at pace, 30secs, recovery. Endless options Be careful though as you keep saying that speedier stuff tends to break you. At the end of the day lots and lots of easy miles produced incredible results for you.
Grr, Hazel, that's a bit annoying! A sarnie doesn't quite cut it when you were expecting pizza!
My body said no this morning as in I had a lie-in. Slept so badly again and couldn't drag myself out into the rain. So I did a solid half hour of heavy weights in the gym in my lunch break.
recover soon LmH
OH - enjoy the track
Hope Emz is ok...
What - 9k easy at lunchtime, pi$$ed down
Why - recovery , legs like lead: 4x800s (400 recovery) then 5x300 (300 recovery)
battered after that, 2 mile w/u & 2mile c/d ended up being 10 altogether
last rest - last month
last hard - yesterday
What: some walking
Why: to get places
Last hard: trying to get my antibiotics, pharmacy was always busy so I didn't manage to get them
Lyrics: yes!
Thanks for the well wishes.
Course of action is a course of prophylactic antibiotics, followed by a follow-up appointment in 2 weeks.
Hope you feel better soon lmh.
Hazel that is rubbish and agree the sandwich is poor consolation!
Ale enjoy London!
