Best running books?

Hi guys,

I love devouring running books and have read many of the popular titles like Born To Run, Running With The Kenyans and Feet In The Clouds.

I'm now looking for a good enjoyable read which focuses more on the practical aspects of running such as training, technique, recovery, race strategies, diet etc.

A bit of background, I'm 40 this year and typically run a mix of trails (my favourite) and road about 3 times a week. I race once or twice a month, typically at 7 - 13km distance as, with the usual work and family commitments, I don't have time to train for anything longer. I'm typically a 42 min 10km runner, have ducked below 40 min once or twice, but have set myself a goal for this year to go sub 40 @ 40.

Cheers,

Kevin
