Hill sprint session?

Hi guys I usually do my speed session on a treadmil but the gym is shut
So I'm going to try a hill sprint session.

I'll do a 1.5 mile jog to the hill
Then aim for 10x50-100 meter (not sure how long the hill is but its steep)
Walk back down and repeat.

Then a 3 or 4 mile jog back in 

Is this a beneficial speed session or would you change it?

    Hi. Sounds good to me; similar to the type of session I try to do every couple of weeks. Don't know what your normal sessions would be each week, or what distances you'd usually put in. But for me, a single speed session per week is sufficient. (Only running 3 or 4 times per week, with an av. distance of 35 miles p/wk.) Try to gauge the pace that you can maintain through the whole set. All the best.
  • It seems that the distance is rather complicated. And difficult to run at any point. But maybe convenient shoes will be the great helpers to reach the finish? What shoes do you use?
