Hazel flag the rw got you back ok Lmh glad you felt you could go on that's good to be a good thing Alehouse no way I'd ever laugh at the gooners and hammers at work, not outwardly anyway!! Don't forget we've got hammers tomorrow 🥺
possunt quia posse videntur - we can because we know we can
Morning all Apologies was "off grid" much of the weekend, but many many thanks for all your comments about Friday's (virtual) marathon. On reflection pretty pleased overall with how it went. Did a bit of stretching and flexibility Friday afternoon so the legs were not too bad come Saturday. I didn't run but did a long (7 mile) walkwith Mrs D instead. Sunday - 6.5 mile run am , slow and easy, not too much soreness, pm - 7.5 mile walk & gardening I think most of you know me too well: cake was consumed, as was beer, and I have already invited myself chez Els/OH given the pictures of the garden party!! Hazel - cracking long run yesterday too Ale - hope the bloods go well today
What - easy run Why - recovering last rest - Saturday last hard - Friday
LMH, the bruises are coming out nicely on my knees, which weren't really a problem this morning; however my left hip that I landed on is sore to touch and was a little annoying towards the end of today's run.
Bloods were first thing this morning. A new normal: rang the bell outside the surgery, was escorted to a particular chair in the waiting room wearing my face covering, gloves and short sleeves. Next patient was escorted to the chair furthest away from me. When the nurse took me through for the bloods she left a red cross on my chair which meant it had to be disinfected. Bloods straightforward, just hope the results are! Escorted out and told to put all clothing straight into the wash, which I did.
Great streaking, Chick!
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

been signed off for three weeks due to MH issues, running is keeping me sane... but did have a big MS fall on Saturday, no major damage.
