Why sawdust is down hope we don't get lost
Last hard this morning

  • Morning.

Yesterday's lyrics - Mad Not Mad by Madness.

Scary Els - especially given that you don't like flying at the best of times!

Is it another hilly one Wabo?

Cold, grey and shortly to become wet here this morning but I shall get myself out for a walk.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

    Morning!

Lyrics: I feel that I should, so that's no.

Cold and grey here; hoping it stays dry for my run.

A point was better than nothing, Wabo! Shame Palace couldn't do the same!

What: a run of some description

Why: run to feel. Should be a MLR but we will see. Want to be back for the start of the test match, although I am not optimistic of play given the forecast for the south coast.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

    Morning again
I imagine it will be hilly today as they usually are in the forest, and wet now!
Lmh have a good walk it's set to rain all day here
Alehouse I agree about the point, not sure how it will go when we play arsenal Sunday. Enjoy your run

    Morning again!

What: 10k, largely off road, slightly quicker than usual, in parts

Why: MLR for this week (?) and trying to increase the speed a notch. Legs were reasonably fresh after a couple of easy days. And I didn't get wet. Stopped just before I set off.

And it is raining at the cricket: start delayed.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • Probably nothing, a gentle day beckons ...
Kidney stone pain bad again (now listed for fragmentation and removal under GA)
    Lyrics no

Nice walk on West coast of Orkney yesterday with Elspeth and Rachael.

Oh sorry to hear that, what a pest that stone is. Lovely photo of you both
    Nice running alehouse
Very muddy run I had! And very slow. It was tougher than we both remembered. We hadn't done this course for years 🤣
    Really enjoyed it though.

    Afternoon
    Nice pictures OH/Els
    Wabo - sounds fun!

    What - easy miles
    Why - recovery
    last rest - 20/06
last hard - yesterday. Went for the tougher session: 12x300 hill reps (ouch!)
    lyric - don't think so
  • Sorry to hear that OH - do you know how long you'll have to wait?

You seem to love these hilly, hard runs Wabo.

Not surprised you wanted an easier day after that session Dustin.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

Another lovely pic. Look at that empty beach!

Upcoming treatment doesn't sound nice OH but you've been in pain for a while.

Any luck on the cricket in the meantime Ale? Nice MLR.

Hope you had a decent walk despite the weather LMH.

    Mud is fun Wabo.

12 x hill does sound ouchy Dustin.

What: something or other in a bit, maybe some GA miles and some strides
Why: not following a plan so go by feel
    Last rest: 30.03

    Lyrics: no

    Afternoon!

Cricket report, Hazel: about half an hour's play in 4 and a half hours. Off and on due to rain.

In other news, planning to have an easy socially distanced run with M75 tomorrow.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Ouch indeed, Dustin. Well toughed out.

    Same for you, wabo

Enjoy tomorrow's run with M75, ale.

Els/OH: What Hazel said about that empty beach. And fingers crossed you get rid of that pesky stone this time around. A 2hr air ambulance ride would freak me out too ...

More of the same for me, namely 45mins of s&c. As a plus my hamstrings have become really flexible in the past weeks. A daily strech routine does have some benefits it seems. So I hope that they won't trouble me when I resume running like they did a few months ago.

    Evening

The week has got away from me again

Monday at club I joined the couch to 5km for a run walk. Trying to be sensible after my week off work ill

What: walk into town to pick up cake, contact lenses and for our family walk, then run this afternoon in the pouring rain
    Why: errands, easy run
Last hard: last week feeling ill
    Lyrics: nope

Wow you guys live in a beautiful part of the world. I hope you get an appointment soon oh.
Reminds me, I need to book a dermatology appointment, my eczema is awful so been referred.

Dustin hope you got the tech issues sorted

    Chick not long now.

Ale cricket was rubbish, hardly any play.

Wabo are you still doing any of your challenges?

    Lmh how are the knees?

    Have a lovely evening all
