    Hi Donnie2, I know the university is shut till January 2022, at least. The university is not letting the York Tri happen because of the 'mass start'. Compared to the start of the marathon the 'mass start' of a Tri is tiny (usually six/eight people at a time). 

    Round the roads of the ERY I don't think there would be a problem, I spend more time avoiding bunnies than anything else! 

    Personally I have not signed up, I would like to but at the moment I have so much race credit with various companies that I am going to be racing free for most of next year.

    Communication this morning: statement/decision to be made 2 months before event date, i.e. 18th August.

    Just been on the York Uni website, they are now saying they are aiming to be open for the start of the Christmas Term. So massive change and a very positive one.
