Any tips on how i can improve

Currently run/walking methord.  
Using 1:1 or 2:1 methord.  I use distance instead of time i find it easier to measure.  Currently run 400-600 meters change up and do 250 -300 and alternate each time stop to walk.  
Finding above the my hip grinds or shins hurt.  
is there any tips to improve.

    It'll depend on a variety of things including age, health, weight, fitness level (including other sports or any previous running) and how long you've been at it recently .

    Assuming you're relatively new to running, then unfortunately the main advice I'd have at this point would be to give it time - people always want results and progress quickly, but it's one of those things that you really can't rush, and shouldn't try to. Doing what you're doing several times a week and gradually extending the time running and reducing the time walking will turn in to running the whole way. On top of that, walking or any other exercise will help with fitness too.
