Morning.
Lyrics - No, no
Oh, no
See you walking 'round like it's a funeral
Don't be a stranger RFJ.
Sorry to hear that Lucas has been ill again emzap especially with the current situation causing an extra level of stress. Is your husband wfh?
Hazel - hope you can enjoy the race and forget about the numbers for a while. The area I live in has just gone into Tier 2 because of rising case numbers locally fortunately it won't make any difference to us as we haven't been socialising indoors anyway.
I'm not sure which woke me in the night - the headache or knee pain but I took some painkillers and the knee feels better though not the head. Today is a non run day anyway. We are taking MiL to the seaside for the weekend - and Lola, her first holiday. Not exactly relaxing for me but a change of scene and I always feel better by the sea.
Yesterday's lyrics - Don't Go - Yazoo.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

Lmh enjoy the seaside, glad the knee isn't too bad, not so the head
Rfj what a lovely post xx
Hazel enjoy the short recovery and definitely the race
Alehouse nice running and streaking
Emzap poor Lucas and your family. Glad he's ok now.
One of my brothers has symptoms so he's waiting for tests to arrive. He's truly had a terrible year so I hope it's not covid.
What I don't know
Why have a strange feeling that needs to pass before I even get up
Last hard turning over in bed
Last rest 31/12/16
Feel like the room is moving about when I look :-(
Hazel - we intend to introduce Lola to the beach though I'm not sure what she'll make of it, Grace found beaches incredibly boring. I expect I'll be up long before anyone else so will take Lola for a walk as soon as it's light enough then back home for breakfast, hopefully manage a short run or two, walk MiL and Lola, probably go out for another walk on my own as MiL will be tired..........:-)
Wabo - oh dear , what's up? Just as you're closing in on JOG too!
LMH - sounds like it will be an odd weekend but nice to have a change of scene and Lola sounds good company!
A bit damp and gray here but just been up hill with Peter.
Hazel - exciting, a race!
Lyrics - nope!
Lyrics: what Hazel said.
And enjoy your race tomorrow, Hazel!
Enjoy the break, LMH.
And hope all is ok Wabo.
What: just back from just over 40 minutes off road
Why: had hoped for more but legs were not as bouncy as they should have been. There's always tomorrow: as Hazel said yesterday, I should be grateful for what I've got.
Grey here, also, Els, and cooler than I thought. Ran in shorts and one long sleeved top: legs were fine but the top half never got warm.
The swimming head thing seems to have eased. But I'm so tired so taking it easy
Have a lovely time lmh it sounds wonderful.
Alehouse nice running
Hazel's right
Have a good weekend all
Glad you’re feeling a bit better Wabo.
Sounds sensible Alehouse.
Race well tomorrow Hazel.
Did you manage to stay on your feet today Els?
A nice stress free journey and a lovely holiday home. Lola has seen the sea but not been on the beach yet due to the high tide. Knee not happy after the journey but walking is ok. Hoping to be able to run tomorrow.
Wabo - sorry to hear about your brother, hope it's nothing. Fingers crossed.
Chick - great pics, looks awful to be stuck there
Ale - Prudence is a well respected voice.
LMH - enjoy the seaside
Emz- Pleased Lucas is on the mend
Hazel - smash it tomorrow
What - 7 (an hour) easy
Why - stretch the legs after a looong week
last rest - last weekend
last hard - yesterday, ended up doing 10x100s (sprint straights, jog bends). Been a while since I did that. You can do a lot of damage over 5 laps...Few new kids joining the U11 group, so nice to see some new faces.
Have a lovely weekend
Day general a bit grey and miserable.
Lyrics no
Sorry to hear you're having to take decisions re running that you'd rather not take, RFJ
