Lyrics
If this world is wearing thin
And you're thinking of escape
Morning all
Struggling this morning
Come back when I have a clue what I'm doing
possunt quia posse videntur - we can because we know we can

    Morning!

Yesterday's were I can see clearly now, Jimmy Cliffe

What: waiting around The Christie (and yes, if only it was a pub, Chick!)

    Why: brachytherapy therapy treatment

Thanks for the thoughts, both on here and elsewhere!

  • Morning

All the best for today indeed Ale.  Hope the wait isn't too long now.  Do you have to stay in?

Els and Chicksta - please keep your snow respectively - seen enough this year already and it is only the beginning of February. Currently glad it isn't raining.

Hope you can work out what you want to do Els and Wabo :)

Good news your shoes seem ok Els.

Belated happy birthday to your mum Chicksta - nice you were able to celebrate with her a bit.

Hope you have enough shoes to have a dry pair every now and then Dustin.

    What: some sort of MLR
    Why: that sort of day
Last hard: 2 x 2 GPS miles LT yesterday with 2 min recoveries - hard but nice rather than horrible hard
    Last rest: 30.03.

Ale - all the best today, I would say think of it as going to the pub, but that would suggest you don't want to leave!! Keep safe and hope it goes well.

Chick - Happy belated Birthday to Mummy
    Hazel - nice session
Wabo - waking up with no clue what you're doing? That's age isn't it? That's my excuse....

    What - Probably short hills
    Why - "lighter" session
    Last rest - 10/10
    last hard - Tuesday
lyric - feel like I should...

  • What we did! Very icy trails and a chilly hail shower last half mile or so!
What's this pub thing you all mention....I can't remember them!
Hope Ale is doing ok and procedure done.
  • Evening!

Just popping in to say procedure d&d. Still lots of tubes! And throat feels like it has swallowed razor blades. But still alive!

Suspect that I will miss the Spurs match, Wabo!

  • Good to hear all done Ale! Staying the night then?
Best wishes for all to go well.  Everyone is in hiding!!
  • Yes, overnight. And thanks, Els.

  • Glad all is d&d AH

What 6 icy bitterly cold miles
Why: it seemed a good idea
    Last hard: 1h25 dentistry yesterday
Last rest: I didn't run or swim yesterday (however did rebuild a kitchen drawer and glue and assemble a towel rail)

When I worked at the Christie in 1983, there was a convention that the staff went to The Red Lion while the patients went to The White Lion. Both unthinkable these days!
