Morning!

No thread! Missing LMH!

Lyrics: Lookin' in your eyes I see a paradise
This world that I've found is too good to be true

Probably had them before.

Yesterday's were "America", Simon and Garfunkel

What: perhaps a very short walk

Why: trying to feel better! Not been great for nearly two weeks now!

Big day, Chick!
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

  • Tropical out...sunny and quite warm. Just had 5 mile run walk on cliff path and going to run with friend this afternoon...I'll be slow!
    Lyrics not a clue.
Hope you're at least a bit better ale!
    Wabo...nice one.
  • Afternoon(ish)

Good luck with the walking Ale.

Errm should you not have been doing 6 today for run the sum Wabo? (1 + 5)

Fingers crossed for you today Chicksta.  Have visions of you throwing the boot in the air and running and jumping up and down but I guess there is some way to go for that yet.  Shame the sun will be gone at a time when you might be getting more mobile.

Hope you have less aches in the meantime emazp.

Nasty windy on Orkney Els and OH.

Nice streak you have going there Dustin.  Rock hard trails not so great for the feet and legs I guess but at least less mud to clean off.

    What: recovery + strides
    Why: Monday
    Last rest: 30.03.

    Lyrics: no
  • Afternoon

Sorry been MIA but not a lot to report but yesterday a nice run outside-Yay

    What: Nice run at lunchtime/weights/TBP

    Why: because I can
    Last hard the weather
    Lyrics: Nope

Boy it was warm today I was bathed in sweat and I was just in skort and short sleeved top.
    ALF: Always a little further
    Miles makes smiles.
    Progression
  • Wind settled and some sun today.
Still a few patches of snow in fields and on hills.
    Wall finished
    300m swim
Just about to go on Monday evening 5k group run.
    Lyrics no
  • Freeeeedom and a little happy dance💃💃💃

Hazel, you weren't far off with me throwing the boot in the air ;) I'm keeping it for now but my consultant confirmed everything healed really well and I'm free to wear normal shoes and free to exercise. Running will of course have to wait until July.

I wish the gyms were open. But at least the forecast is for warmer weather over the next few days so time to venture out for some walks. Right now we have an inch of fresh snow which will probably keep me indoors until it's melted.

Els/OH: You seem to have quite a few weather extremes going on. Tropical sounds conducive to swimming :)

    Enjoy the group run, OH.

2 weeks is a long time to feel poorly, ale.

    Good to see you, poppy.

How your mum likes the cricket, wabo.
  • Chick...not tropical here....banks of snow by sides of main roads but majority of it gone.
Chilly but sociable 7m with friend this afternoon...wierd running on roads after days of snowy trails!
Great news chick...bet you cant wait to get out!
Hope Ale was up to some fresh air and everyone else is fine!
