Sunday 16th May You say black, I say white

Morning!

Lyrics: You say black, I say white
You say bark, I say bite
You say shark, I say hey man

Yesterday's games/sports themed lyrics were The Eton Boat Song

What: easy run and stretches

Why: being careful, still not in the stretching routine

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

All good here..posting from the beach as poor signal at base!
Two lovely walks yesterday and a pub lunch.
Today the most northerly Munro finally done after epic fail 35 years ago. Should have got back sooner!
A lot of places shut or takeaway only but still good to be here.
    Good wishes to the I'll.
Might be seeing the best weather yesterday and today.
    Lyrics yes!

    Afternoon!

I enjoyed the photos, Els! And well done on bagging the Munro!
On your trip are you able to take the car the whole way or is boat, bus...or bicycle?

Lots of gardening so again haven't stretched. Disappointing. Today's run brought up 28.6km for the week. Also disappointing as last week was 29 and I thought that I had exceeded that: miscalculation! Not that it matters too much but it would have been good to have another weekly increase. There's always next week.

Els - lovely photos and well done ticking off that Munro!
Ale - still a decent tally mileage given recent issues, and some more gardening too. More than most I’d suggest!
Hazel - hope the long run was fine.
Wabo - did you get out?

what - 19.25 trail miles in pretty much constant rain
why - marathon in 5 weeks so thought I’d see if I could run for ~3 hours
    Last rest -10/10
last hard - that, after hills yesterday. Legs sort of ok, started to tire last 2 but was back on home turf (and flatter trails) by then. Pleased to average ~8:45 pace on that. Barely a soul out: 2 runners, 2 walkers think that was about it...
