Monday 24th May 2021 Come gather 'round people

Morning!

Lyrics: Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam

Yesterday's were Abba with Waterloo. The only connection with Eurovision today is that this act can't stand Eurovision.

What: longer run with M76

Why: Monday
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

    Hiya
    OH - lovely photos
Hazel - how did the 19k at MP go? Skipping speedwork? Tsk!
Wabo - hope you get the plod done
Ale - have a good run today.

    What - 5.6 miles run commute (Waterloo-Wharf)
why - in London, it's a stunning morning!
    last rest - 10/10
    last hard - yesterday
Hamstring a little grumbly, will keep an eye on that. Plenty of stretching today.
Also it's the wedding anniversary today: 24 years. How she hasn't killed me I'll never know...
Somehow both daughters are coming out with us tonight for dinner. How did that happen?

    Morning

Have a nice run with m76 Ale, hopefully with similar weather to down south.

Yep, get out there if you can Wabo. Sorry, I forgot to upload several days to FE until late yesterday.

Congratulations Dustin, enjoy the family meal this evening.  The MP bit went well thanks, had to keep reminding myself to not speed up - the legs didn't want to but at the end of 18.5 miles the head wanted it done with.

What: 4 miles recovery d&d pre breakfast
Why: BH here, going to visit PIL in Germany for first time since August as we can now cross the border for 24 hours.
    Last rest 30.03.20

    Lyrics: no

    Morning again!

Enjoy the bank holiday, Hazel, and the evening, Dustin!
Hope that you managed a short run, Wabo!

What: 8.4k with M76, mostly off road, all at talking pace. Marginally quicker than last week for the same course. And the course was marginally muddier. Grey here and rain forecast for later this morning.

Why: Monday. Both dressed in Ronhill kit. I wore the t-shirt that I wore the day that Ron celebrated his 50 years of RunEveryDay: see photo below which is actually from BBC footage from yesterday. And Dr Hill was the main topic of conversation on our run.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Sorry to hear about Ron ale. Great pics of you and Ron and oh :)

Oh and els looked like you had a lovely time

Wabo, don't, I don't know how people can say it was the best for years.... Maybe they mean for 2 years seeing it wasn't on last year...

    What: sitting on sofa
Why: not feeling well, not sure if I overdid it at the weekend/didn't drink enough water/eat enough but I'm really wobbly
Last hard: standing all day at Evesham market yesterday, weather was awful and sales reflected that
    Lyrics: of course :)

Hazel well done on the mp

    Dustin happy anniversary

    Have a lovely day all.

Oops, missed posting at the weekend.

It was our 23rd wedding anniversary on Saturday, Dustin. Congrats on yours 😊

Enjoy the trip to see the in-laws,  Hazel. Bank Holiday here as well.

I went to see a friend yesterday who I haven't seen since summer last year. We had a great afternoon with blueberry cheesecake.

    Fantastic pics, Els and OH.

Very sad to hear Ron Hill passed away. Immediately thought of you, Ale. Such a legend.

    Take it easy, Em.

Oh dear, wabo. That's been going on for a bit now...

30k bike ride and day 71 of my 10k steps per day streak.
