Morning!

Lyrics: Home again,
'Cross the sea

Yesterday's were Yellow Submarine, The Beatles

Spot a new theme?

Frustrating, Emz! Their problem, not yours.

What: easy run, stretches, gardening

Why: want to do all three for once

Can't sleep!

  • Ok Ale...got it...theme that is and lyrics!
Emz...sounds unfair. If you're leading a social/training run you don't run off and leave folk but in a race you go as fast as you can surely!
Legs tired after my 9m yesterday....how quickly endurance leaves you! Probably a walk today as running with folk tomorrow and Sunday.
    Chick....nice run but be careful!

  • Lie in (not vaccinating) then swim out west.
    Lyrics yes and theme probably.

Public shaming never a good idea even if there had been a miscommunication, emzap.

    Morning
Lyrics yes theme not what I thought yesterday but yes, (I thought colour maybe lol)
Oh that's spot on public shaming is horrible
    Enjoy your swim
    Els enjoy the walk
Did sea kayaking yesterday which was great fun. Me and Cleo, she was a natural, just instinctively knew what to do
What might run today but I do feel really tired after yesterday
    Why holiday mode
    Last hard yesterday
    Last rest yesterday
    Have a good day all

    Morning again!

    Holiday sounds good, Wabo!

Re the theme, it very nearly was colours, but your seaside trip suggested "the sea", however anyone wants to interpret it.

Two hours of gardening done, so a short break then supermarket then run.

Thanks all, your support means a lot, I'm struggling quite a bit at the mo (which is unlike me) so this did not help.

    Wabo that looks amazing!

Had a great chat with a friend today and we identified why I may be struggling and put together an action plan. So I am focussing on taking more time to exercise.  Today I've walked about 8km and done 20 min of core and strength.

Chick any after effects from the foot today?

I think I know the lyrics!

    Have a lovely day all.

Wow, Em that's not nice 😕. I guess I would have opened my big mouth and given them my two cents ... but I understand how it took you by surprise.
    Foot is behaving well 🙏🏻

That looks stunning, wabo. Bet you enjoyed that. I love Cornwall.

I think I get the theme. Yes to lyrics 👍🏻

Another 5 done today. Left it too late and was a bit dehydrated. It's 30 degrees today and I'm not used to that yet 🙃

    Evening.

Sympathies from my side too emzap, a race is a race. Well done on your second place! Hope you can put it behind you soon, good also to work things out with your friend.

Ooo a run chicksta. Great news the foot is ok. Please be careful though if you are using a different gait that you don't upset some other bits. 30 degrees is a bit on the warm side.

Hope you had a nice walk Els.

Lie in and swim sounds ideal OH.

    That looks fun Wabo!

Did you get everything done Ale?

Currently waiting for a big thunderstorm to get going..

What: 68k cycle home / 6.xk leg loosener run afterwards
Why: return trip on a slightly different route
Last hard: altogether nearly 800m of ascent, 300 in the last 8k. Plus the saddle at the end of it
    Last rest: 30.03.20

    Lyrics: no
  • Water getting warmer

    Evening!

That sounds a tough post tough cycle run, Hazel!

And no, no stretches, again! Actually run was a bit niggly, but worked hard on the gardening. Supermarket d&d. Flying visit from son and d-i-l.

    That water looks tropical, OH!

    And the Griffin was good!

    Hiya
Emz - that is shocking, it’s either a race or it’s not. I’d have voiced a “sturdy” response..
    chick - a run!! (Naughty)
    hazel - epic ride
OH - that water does look inviting, and I don’t even swim!
ale - good work in the garden

    what - 6.5 steady in a downpour
    why - spin the wheels
    last rest - Tuesday
last hard - getting back to it
still not 100% (bloated, reduced appetite) but better than a week ago.
