Well done on your race in the heat Wabo. Not too hard today to save yourself for tomorrow then. Well done to your OH on the new wheels and the rise.
Busy day today then Ale.
Like the pic chicksta and good news from your surgeon. Pretty terrible news coming out of the badly hit areas in Germany - high death toll
Nice you have a family visit to look forward to Els. Hope you have recovered from the yoga in the meantime.
Nice trip to Belfast Dustin. Holidays should be for enjoyment not about fretting about a few missing miles.
Yesterday's planned 10 miler turned into a 7 miler as I didn't get out early enough for it - couldn't force myself out into the downpour and waited until it eased off a bit. Will do the 10 today instead.
Yes, the situation is rather severe. Over 100 dead already and the numbers are likely to rise as rescuers cannot get through and houses are just collapsing with people trapped inside. Horrific. I've never seen anything like it.
It's good to be flexible with your plan, Hazel. Nothing is written in stone.
Another race, wabo? Good luck!
Yoga sounds tough, Els. I'm a bit sad that my yoga days seem to be over. My consultant didn't say no per se but anything involving bending the toes is best avoided so as not to unnecessarily stress the bone. Some poses can of course be adapted; I've done so in the past. But the compulsive side in me would rather do the poses properly. Anyway, it's a luxury problem. I can run without pain which is what I wanted to achieve.
How's the shin today, ale?
Enjoy NI, Dustin.
Just a walk today but I did run the last k of said walk. Not overdoing things though. All feeling fine
Hiya Concur regarding Germany/Belgium - shocking news to hear about the flooding and those affected. Just the one night stay in Belfast but will definitely be going back. Today we hit the beach at Ayr, surpassed my expectations and lovely that it wasn't very busy! What - Got back late afternoon for an hour up and down the hills - some trails still very over grown so took a couple of detours... Why - saying farewell to Ayrshire tomorrow so making the most last rest - Wednesday last hard - today lyric - think so

Thanks for the lyrics, Wabo! Continuing the theme.
What: unsure
Why: work, including teaching PE, then off to cricket. Hopefully time to stretch at some point.

Yes to lyrics.
Have a lovely weekend all.
(ironically we are on the brink of a water shortage here)
(cautiously optimistic that Pilates may be helping)
