Morning!

Lyrics: Don't know when I've been so blue
Don't know what's come over you
You've found someone new

Yesterday's were Silver Lady, David Soul

What: short run, long stretch

Why: Thursday

Hope Chamolk is ok and all post race niggles have gone.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

  • I'm running out of colour related songs!

    Anyone suggest a new theme?

    I had thought of:
    Names (male/female)
    Places
Time (Days, dates, seasons, months, years)
    Numbers

    All suggestions welcome!

  • Morning

I think any of those themes could work Ale.  Well done on the 5 in a row.

It has been pretty warm these last few days here too emazp (25-26c). Cools down nicely in the evenings though.  Well done for sticking to your plan, make sure you do get the easy runs in as well.

That sounds like a good plan regarding HM and maras chicksta.

Shame about the missed track session Wabo but if you were tired then maybe it wouldn't have gone as well as you would have wanted anyway.  Good news your OH's knee is ok.

    What: yesterday's intervals..
Why: postponed due to heat, CNBA and out a bit too late, did today's recovery instead.
    Last rest: 30.03.20

    Lyrics: no

    Morning all
Lyrics yes, should have known yesterday's
Alehouse go with names, first on your list?
Hazel well done on getting out and doing your recovery, schedules are there to be tweaked lol
Alehouse well done and I too have done a stretch, Tai chi! Left it easy too long so I really had to concentrate on the moves.
    What couple of tiddly runs
Why got to be ready to get train to meet mum then train to Cornwall
    Last hard this morning
    Last rest 24/7
Had yet another fall last night, legs find but left elbow really sore and swollen. So annoyed. Running with oh on a gravel path light fading and I just not a small rock set in the path and went up and slammed down!
possunt quia posse videntur - we can because we know we can
  • Morning again!

Oh no, Wabo! I feel the pain! Hope you soon recover! And enjoy Cornwall...and mum!

    Short run d&d, stretches later.

    Enjoy the faster stuff, Hazel

  • Wabo...oh dear...hope the elbow injury isn't bad!
Ale...sorry we won't catch up with you...thought of Ps extended family quite intimidating! Though his cousin Fran who were giving a lift to tomorrow is lovely!
On the move again....in Moffat for a quick stop then south some more!
    Hazel...good you took it easy!
    Chick...you're doing lots now.
Lyrics no but feel maybe I should!
  • Hiya
Wabo - ouchie, hope it's just ego that's bruised. Enjoy pasty country!
Ale - decent streaking going on, good to see.
Youngest back in your neck of the woods now...
Hazel - hope the 600s go well...
Emz - a plan? Is it a Baldrick style cunning one?
Els/OH - lovely pics earlier, enjoy the travels.
Chick - sounds a sensible race plan

Looks like I omitted to post yesterday so in brief: Tuesday did do the 1200s, boy was that hard, too muggy by far. Did just the 4 (after all I'm not running a marathon). Usually I'd hope to be sub 5 for these, but these were all 5:09-5:14 which I'll take tbh.
Yesterday was an easy 6 recovery AM, with a further 3m PM as part of coaching village group.
Today: 8 miles steady on trails, coaching U11s later
    Why - miles
    last rest - 14/08
last hard - Today really, found it a bit tough going, although not so warm with rain and a breeze. Still muggy though.
lyric - possibly. Any theme is good for me.

  • Well done on the intervals, Dustin. Are you fully recovered post Covid?

Els: You get around a bit. Safe travels.

Hazel: Hope the intervals were OK today. Sometimes it's better to be flexible with sessions.

Feel free to pick a new theme, Ale

    What: 5 miles
Why: I found it tough going today - warm and muggy
    Last hard: that was
    Last rest: Monday
