Morning!
Lyrics: When the mist's a-rising
And the rain is falling
And the wind is blowing cold across the moor
Another boy's name!
Yesterday's: When Johnny Comes Marching Home, American song from the civil war. Much covered.
Dolly Parton's version to motivate the troops: When Johnny Comes Marching Home (Audio) - Dolly Parton - YouTubeWhat: short run, long stretch
Why: working, Tuesday
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Ale- enjoy the work day
Els - glad you made it home safely (and uneventfully!)
Hazel - hoping you find some run pals
What - the much anticipated and loathed 7 mile LTP with the club.
Why - P&D told me to do it
last rest - 14/10
last hard - was Sunday , will be today
lyric - not so sure
Els: No wonder the legs were wooden and grumpy.
Hazel: I'm doing the 12 week up to 70 mile plan. I adapt it to how I feel though. I read the other P&D book (P&L I think) which has no marathon plans but includes a chapter on old folk aka masters athletes so if I feel I need more rest I will take it.
Good you found some running buddies.
Having said that: Left hamstring twingy today so I saved the 2nd MLR for another day and just did 5 easy miles.
And another no to lyrics. I'm really not good at boys' names
