London Marathon

Hi folks, this is a last resort, my Dad will be 80 this year, he’s run 13 London marathons for charity over the years and I’m trying to do a montage, photos, medals etc for his family party, does anyone out there know where I can get copies of the routes? He ran at various times from 1999 until 2018 when his knees unfortunately gave up! I can get prints of the current one, and the one before the Canary Wharf change a few years back, I cannot find the one that ran anti clockwise around Isle of Dogs and over the infamous cobbles ( which he recons did his knees) , any help would be very much appreciated, thanks

I know that we are supposed to hear this month about the lottery results but does anyone have any hints about when?

Might be worth looking through the Wayback Machine on the internet to see if any if the old routes are cached in its dataset.

Seems that the lottery for L. M. has been delayed until 14th of March for some reason,maybe having trouble balancing the places with two years of deferrals

Okay folks hope you have had more luck than we have with the marathon lottery. To date, friends, work colleagues and family have just racked up 17 , “ sorry, not this year” replies, oh well, another chance next year, lol 😂

I got a ballot place last year but had to defer as the picked up an injury. I probably set my expectations too high in recovering from a fractured pelvis. The extra time is allowing me to build back up more gradually.
