Morning!
Lyrics: And we're rolling, rolling, rolling on the river
Yesterday's nature related song: Strawberry Fields Forever, The Beatles
What: easy run, stretch
Why: relatively hard yesterday
Go, Chick, go!
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Was just musing over some lyrics myself - thanks for starting Ale.
Currently watching Vienna marathon as I can get Austrian TV here. Didn't see chicksta yet, but very unlikely anyway and they are mostly concentrating on the elite men. Conditions look ok - overcast, dry and looking at the spectators clothing not too warm.
Love the fancy dress for parkrun yesterday OH.
No Sachertorte chicksta? Maybe you are saving it for post race?
Vienna is certainly worth a visit Els. Nice trail run yesterday.
Have a good Sunday all.
What: long run once I get myself sorted and out of the door. Will have a look at my race route.
Why: need to see something other than my standard routes
Last hard: getting to grips with a new mobile - actually not a bad idea to set up from new in order to get rid of a lot of junk (old one is bust and not accessible)
Last rest: 19.04.22

Hazel, enjoy your long run.
Maybe if we visit daughter in Zurich later in year we could go to Vienna! Tried to fit it in with another trip in May but daughter is busy moving flat and work are moving out of the city too.
Lyrics, yes.
Not sure what today, maybe walking, legs a bit battered!
Inspired by folk running the Highland Fling (53 miles on west highland way ) yesterday, think the distance is beyond me though!
Have a good day all.
Looking forward to today's report, Chick!
Fitness suite and 5k windy plod this morning. Now well wrapped up at cricket.
Hope everything has gone well Chick. I expect its all over now.
What 3 miles
Why that consistency thing 😊

Chick - that is just awesome! Well done.
Looking at your half/full times, looked like that went very well!
Ale - nice PR yesterday
Els - sounds like a decent trail run
OH - or is that Abe? Well done!
Hazel - back to back MLRs...good work! How did the long run go?
What - 2 easy miles, day of timekeeeping
why - stretch the legs (racing tomorrow) & junior league match
last rest - 02/04
last hard - Friday's 15miles
lyric - think so
Yesterday was an easy 5k, so I reckon that makes this weekend my lowest mileage sat/sun for many years!
Vets league tomorrow night, looks like I'm doing the 2k walk and probably 1500. Should be interesting!
