Hiya Wabo - good luck in the race! Chamolk - Qop/Kop = Queen/King of pain - aka the Physio with her/his elbows... Hazel - how was the group run?
MIA yesterday - Like Chick we were celebrating another year together, a somewhat rounded 25 years. Day at the spa doing little (after a 10 mile run , obviously), then dinner in the evening. Have another meal out on Saturday and away jubilee weekend too.
What - some hill work Why - club's trail marathon, 2 weeks on Sunday last rest - 02/04 last hard - Monday's ks lyric - yes of course
Did you get to do a Fathers' race or similar Chamolk?
What: not sure yet
Why: off plan at the moment and long BH weekend (Thurs-Sun) coming up. Need to plan what else we are doing and fit running around it for once rather than the other way around!
Group run was nice Dustin - bit rapid at times but fortunately fairly slow up the hilly bits. Rare visit from a guy from further away which was nice. Congrats on your anniversary, day at the spa sounds lovely.
Not so great news regarding the hip Ale. Hope that eases up.
Morning all, gotta get back in training now! Lyrics, no. Yesterday's was easy though! Wabo, enjoy Elvis! Dustin happy 25th anniversary. Ale, sorry about sore hip. No problems on journey home, got in to a beautiful sunset at 11pm, this morning it's raining, ah well excuse to put off grass cutting! Hazel, what are you up to for BH weekend. We have one next weekend and hope to visit the grandaughter and parents, would have done it on the way home but they are away just now. Shopping, washing, trying to sort a few things and a run I guess, wish rain would stop!
Why: about right. Hip was reasonable, left hamstring less so! There's always something! And part way round the rain came, and the wind which was in my face on the way out and then turned as I did to hit me on the way back, or so it seemed.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
Total bl**Dy mess up. Race started at a different side of a massive park in Dagenham so we failed. We ran round and round and walked and just couldn't see anyone. Can't be helped
Nice one els
Pammie nice run and consistency
Alehouse doesn't the wind always seem to do that. Good running. Glad hip was reasonable though! Hazel sounds like a good group run
Congrats Dustin, hope you had a good run, spa sounds lovely
Trying hard not to be too disappointed
possunt quia posse videntur - we can because we know we can
